Muhammad Rizki works in the Department of Operations and Emergencies at IOM. He started his career at the beginning of post-tsunami response and recovery operation in Banda Aceh, early 2005. He then spent 3 years (2008-2010) in Sri Lanka and Pakistan, working on information management through several different emergency operations before being assigned to the IOM headquarters in Geneva. In Geneva, Muhammad has been part of the global support team for the Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM*), providing support to all IOM major emergency operations in the field for the last 4 years. *The DTM is an integrated mechanism to regularly captures, processes and disseminates multi-layered information on the changing locations, vulnerabilities and needs of displaced populations during disaster.
