Gerald Kresta has been in the Water Sector for over 9 years with roles in Product Management, Strategy and Business Development at Siemens Water Technologies (now Evoqua); prior to that he worked in leadership roles in systems engineering and manufacturing operations. His expertise covers equipment, solutions and services in the water sector having worked on projects in Europe, USA, China, South East Asia and Brazil. He has experience in both water and wastewater treatment technologies across several industry sectors and in serving municipal utilities. Since joining TUV SUD he has been an active contributor to the Sustainable Non-Sewered Sanitation Systems standard development project and the evaluation of standards for decentralized community scale fecal sludge/solid waste treatment systems. Gerald is responsible for the global business development and projects for TUV SUD Water Services Center of Excellence and is based in Singapore. He is a trained mechanical engineer and holds an MBA from the Goizueta Business School, Emory University, Atlanta, USA and is certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
